Work Experience

WUSA - Washington, DC (October 2021-Present)

Meteorologist and Climate Reporter

Responsible for providing the certified most accurate forecast for the Washington D.C. region during the weekday noon and evening broadcasts.

Additional responsibilities include serving as an environmental advocate committed to informing viewers about the changing climate.

NBC Connecticut (October 2015-October 2021)

Meteorologist

Morning meteorologist responsible for delivering accurate and timely  weather forecasts for Connecticut.

Actively involved in the Connecticut community making public appearances including 

school visits and weather preparedness events. Contributing Meteorologist for CNBC during severe weather coverage.

 

WCSC- Live 5 News - Charleston, SC (January 2014-Present)                                                                                                                                                                        Weather Forecaster

Weekday evening and weekend morning weather anchor. Responsible for delivering accurate and timely weather

forecasts for Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties. Additional duties include live traffic reporting, producing

feature stories for a variety of topics, and performing live shots during various newscasts.

Actively involved in representing WCSC at community events and various public appearances including schools,

senior programs, and hurricane preparedness programs.

 

WRUF/WUFT-TV - Gainesville, FL (October 2012-December 2014)

Selected as a weather forecasting anchor responsible for reporting live on the 5pm news for areas in

north and central Florida.  Responsible for generating special weather reports and prepared weather

updates for WRUF. Worked as a student news reporter responsible for creating day-of packages for the

5pm newscast.

 

KDKA-TV - CBS Pittsburgh (May 2013-August 2013)

Intern responsible for assisting Meteorologist Dennis Bowman and Pittsburgh Today Live Host and evening news anchor Kristine Sorensen. Duties included providing insight for daily forecasts, preparing and setting up interviews for guests of Pittsburgh Today Live, assisting the producer

with script writing for the show, as well as going out on stories and completing packages for both Pittsburgh

Today Live and the evening newscasts.

Girls on the Run DC (July 2022-Present)

Board Member for Girls on the Run DC. GOTR is a nonprofit organization that uses a fun, experience-based curriculum that integrates running to help young girls build confidence and live a healthy life.

STEM for Her (April 2022-Present)

Active volunteer and advocate for STEM for her, a non profit that encourages and educates girls grade school-college on STEM opportunities and career paths. The organization also provides scholarships and financial support for programs that promote STEM.
